Constantia Santuary Villa is an exceptional six bedroom private villa available on an exclusive basis throughout the year for retreats, events, holidays and photo shoots. The villa is located in Constantia, one of the oldest areas in Cape Town and South Africa, and home to incredible wine farms, unrivalled natural beauty and some of the most renowned restaurants in town.

This spectacular Constantia villa is ideal for large families, friends and groups seeking a high-end, yet relaxed, private and intimate location for time together, special occasions, retreats and tranquillity . The house sleeps 12 in style and comfort, and is located within a forty-minute drive of Cape Town International Airport.

Your perfect holiday will be attended to by an in-house manager assisted by a house keeper; both will tend to all your needs throughout your blissful days.

Set over 2100 square meters of land, the lush gardens will enthral you with their white roses, grand weeping willow, unobscured views onto Constantia’s Green Path where you will encounter the occasional horseback rider, and the beautiful swimming pool around which your family will relax and play.

The house boasts two different living rooms, one formal, and one more casual which includes an indoor barbecue. Both enjoy the comforts of working fireplaces and both overlook a serene covered patio equipped with a rustic outdoor dining table and lounge chairs.

The kitchen is a unique three-in-one kitchen, dining room and second living room lighted by the gentle glow of a huge fireplace. It is the place where everyone meets when not outside by the swimming pool.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven , micro-wave, pantry, washing machine, expresso machine, pots, pans and silverware for all. Your stay at Constantia Sanctuary includes a full time House Manager & Housekeeper as well as a daily complimentary organic breakfast. 

MASTER BEDROOMS

Master Bedroom 1

This beautiful ground floor suite features a king-size handmade delicate bed, working chimney, flat-screen TV, wifi, and a large marble bathroom with soaking tub, double vanity, separate shower, and windows which open to the garden. It includes a very large walk-in closet as well as separate wardrobe.

There’s also a private grass patio off the bedroom in a quiet, shady part of the front yard. This bedroom is a true refuge offering privacy and a sense of relaxation and rest.

Master Bedroom 2

With its open doors to the patio and swimming pool, the second master bedroom offers tranquility and comfort in a king size bed with en suite bathroom which includes a full bath tub and separate shower.

BEDROOMS 3, 4, 5 & 6

Quietly nestled in the house’s inner garden, bedrooms 3&4 both enjoy the comfort of king size beds, nurtured in a soothing and delicate hue of pastel colours. They share a beautiful bathroom.

The bedrooms 5 & 6 are ideal for your children; one with two double beds, and the next other with a fold out catch, giant screen tv with game console. They share a beautiful bathroom.

The villa is a small peaceful paradise situated in the heart of the Constantia Valley, best known for its winelands, 20 minutes from the commercial center of Cape Town.

There are a number of established wineries such as Groot and Klein Constantia, Beau Constantia, Constantia, and Steenberg, each with a famous restaurant.

The world-renowned Table Mountain is all around you as the Constantia winelands are situated on the slopes of the back of Table Mountain. If you are not the avid hiker, the cableway can be reached within 20 minutes from the Villa.

Equally distant, the Waterfront is a tourist hotspot with many magnificent restaurants, shops and an amphitheater which hold regular events. The wine routes of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are also major attractions of the Cape and are less than an hour away for a magnificent experience.

Finally, 18 world class golf courses are within very easy access of the guest house and tee times can be arranged for your convenience. Distance to the airport is 28 km, or approximately 45 minutes.

John, our resident in-house manager, will be available to meet and greet you at the house on your arrival. John has a long experience of taking the utmost care of his guests having spent many years as concierge and manager. He will help you navigate the various technical points of the house and will be available during your stay to help with questions, recommendations and emergencies should the need arise.

Our house manager can also help you with pre-stocking of groceries, reservations, organize special events, adventure tours for both adults and kids, a lively BBQ and any other request to make your stay the best ever.

John is also a Cape Town certified Guide and is thus the perfect person to help you plan your visits. He is assisted by our housekeeper. Together, they work from 7:00 to 15:00, but are happy to work overtime and cook you a delicious lunch or a dinner over the BBQ, at a minimal extra cost.

'WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!! The villa is exceptional and is in the middle of Constantia. It is really peaceful. It is easy to get to with absolute lush settings and comforts. The staff are friendly and always available for any needs that need attending to. A well finished and impeccably furnished home away from home with all the creature comforts. The kids loved the trampoline. This house was an absolute dream and it far exceeded any of our expectations! The charming vibe, views, bedding quality, service and complimentary breakfast, it was all magical. We most enjoyed the staff taking care of us. Every day they made all possible things to make us comfortable and happy. We will never forget our stay.'
