Located in Hout Bay, it comfortably sleeps 6 guests and is close to the many beaches in Cape Town. Whether you’re a family with kids or a group of adults, we are sure you’ll feel comfortable and relaxed at Hout Bay Holiday House. After a busy day out, come back to a house that feels like a home away from home.
The home comes fully kitted with all the amenities a family or group of adults could need. With 3 bedrooms, 6 guests can sleep comfortably split across 1 king (which is completely natural latex and wool bed), and 2 doubles.
The modern kitchen is stocked with a gas hob, dishwasher, and an open plan counter for entertaining. The solid oak dining table is directly alongside the kitchen making for an easy pleasurable cooking / dining experience.
A comfortable L shaped couch seats 5 easily in front of the 42 inch flat screen TV with satellite (if required), Netflix, dvd player and media drive.
The kitchen, dining area and lounge flow through large sliding doors onto the outdoor area where sun loungers, hammock chairs, a 10m pool (with or without a pool fence, it’s up to you), weber braai (South African term for barbecue) and outdoor seating await for the lazy summer days to be filled.
The garden boasts a basic jungle gym / climbing tree. This house is lived in and enjoyed by our 2 girls and so any child will feel right at home. At the same time though, it is perfect for guests without children who enjoy a relaxed and natural feeling space.
Being a family home we are security conscious and offer an alarm system, electric fencing, electric gate and automatic garage.
In the garage you will find a washing machine and clothes dryer should you need with an outside clothes line out back.
You have full access to all the amenities the house has to offer. We have free wifi and cable television or Netflix with instructions on arrival.
You will have the house to yourself. Someone will be on hand should you need assistance but other than that you will have complete privacy.
Hout Bay is a relatively quiet family friendly neighbourhood with a real community feel. Nestled in a valley with mountains on 3 sides and the ocean to the south you don't get much prettier. There are plenty of local restaurant options. Llandudno beach, arguably the best beach in Cape Town is a 5 minute drive away, the famous Camps Bay is 10 minutes away and Cape Town Central is only 25 minutes drive away. The famous Chapman's Peak drive starts in Hout Bay. We have a functioning fishing harbour and a local vineyard all adding charm and character.
The new rapid transport system is in easy walking distance from the house to get access to the rest of our beautiful city.
